Will my GC accept a JHABox JHA?
We can’t promise that, and nobody honestly can. What we can do is lay out the JHA the way GC safety reviewers expect. It lists the job steps in order, with hazards, controls, risk before and after, and 29 CFR 1926 references. It also includes PPE, emergency information and a crew sign-off sheet. A competent person still has to review it for your site.
Does a JHABox draft guarantee I pass an OSHA inspection?
No. No document does that on its own, and JHABox is not affiliated with OSHA. Drafts are built around OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and cite specific paragraphs we’ve checked against the official eCFR text. Compliance depends on what happens on site.
Does OSHA require a JHA?
Federal OSHA has no construction standard that requires a document called a “JHA.” But GCs, owners and USACE often require one (USACE calls it an Activity Hazard Analysis). Read our guide: Is a JHA required by OSHA?
What do I get for free?
